The History of the Minden Airport

Doors Open at 6:00 p.m. Lecture Begins at 6:30 p.m.

Please join us at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center with featured speaker Wayne Scarpaci who will be talking about The History of the Minden Airport.  From the beginning in 1943 – The Army Corps of Engineers completed the construction of the airport to be used as a training facility for World War II aircraft, primarily P-51 Mustangs.
