The bombing took place on August 26–27, 1980, when several men masquerading as IBM delivery personnel planted an elaborate explosive device containing 1,000 pounds of dynamite at Harvey’s Resort Hotel (now “Harvey’s Lake Tahoe”) in Stateline, NV
